Audi-Fab Design Build was a two-semester prototyping and fabrication-based studio sequence taught at the American University of Sharjah. Four student teams developed architectural systems around advanced fabrication techniques and architectural acoustics. The student teams chose one system to develop further into a permanent intervention within the School of Architecture. Curved folds in stainless steel provide the structural basis for this hollow system that encloses sound absorbent material while allowing aperture for visual connection.
